Right after the recent hail storm, I was inundated with several roofing companies asking to do a roof inspection. Many of theminspected from the street level and a couple got on the roof for a cursory inspection of just a few minutes.Only Anthony Gerardo of ASI construction got on the roof for a whole hour, taking several photos of hail damage.He made a very detailed report for my home insurance. He worked with me to deal with the challenges of the insurance company regarding my claim all the way through installation and interior repairs. I attempted to deal with the insurance claims process myself - Anthony and ASI interfaced with my insurer and managed to have the claim approved for a new roof, gutters and skylights after my unsuccessful attempts.I felt like he treated my home like his own - and was on hand throughout the job. We had one of ASI's project managers, Ted Wagner out for a roof and gutter inspection thru a referral to my wife from my in-laws. Ted came over at the end of September and wrote up a report for February 2024 hail damage to roof and gutters so we could submit a claim thru State Farm insurance. Due to the southern state hurricanes and local ongoing hail claims here in Illinois, State Farm was a month behind in getting adjusters to homes. We had an adjuster make the inspection, but most insurance companies won't approve almost all claims on a roof over 10-15 years old unless the hail was golf ball size and literally punched holes in the roofing materials at 100 mph winds. I was told I had $2500 worth of "soft metal" damage, but my deductible is $3000...I'm upside down at that point, how convenient for the multi-billion dollar insurance company!So NO GO on the claim, but we needed the work done. Ted came back with a very good out-of-pocket deal, work started two weeks after we signed contract and paid 1/2 down. A few days delay between start to completion due to weather issues, plus we needed most of the roofing 4 x 8 plywood base sheets replaced due to rotted wood...thankfully, ASI discounts pricing for added sheets. So overall, within a 3 week period at this time of year, we have a new roof, gutters with gutter guards, and improved 4 x 3 downspouts! Crews were ultimate professionals....the roofing crew stayed close to evening the first day, Wednesday, 11/20.24, with high winds, sleet and snow heading their way. Roof was protected with tarps and made water tight until they could finish Friday, 11/22/24. The gutter crew was working in evening darkness on Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve and came back again early morning this past Black Friday and installed gutter guards in this freak arctic air cold snap! Dedicated professionals! 5 Stars for Ted Wagner, Michael in the office, and the roofing/gutter crews! Work was completed in the original estimated time-frame. House looks great and will drain rain water and melting snow worry-free!

My family's home in Orland Park was hit by a hail storm in May earlier this year. I was immediately bombarded with storm chasers knocking at my door and calling non stop, I did not see any damage but was selling my house and did decide to have an inspection. Based on the reviews and a friend on Facebook I choose ASI Construction and I called Scottie Burns he and his partner Chris were my go to for everything, I literally never once had to call Scottie for any updates or to see what was going on as I was kept up to date at least once a week. I typically don't write many reviews but I wanted to say how great I was treated by everyone at ASI! I was initially skeptical of the insurance claim process but after reading reviews and speaking with my neighbors, I decided to give it a shot! I worked with Scottie Burns and his partner Chris and they were wonderful! Both were very patient with me, explained the process, helped pick the colors, walked me through the installation AND were even there to clean up at the end!!Me and my neighbors are all delighted with the results! We had a new roof, siding, and gutters installed almost 6 years ago through ASI. We’ve been extremely happy. Last week I noticed a piece of the vinyl siding was loose. I contacted customer service and ended up speaking with Michael. He was polite and professional. He followed up and set up an appointment with Drew. Drew was out today and promptly took care of the problem. Great customer service.

Wonderful customer service!My mother had ASI install a new roof and gutters on her home in Berwyn about 2 years ago, we were very happy with everything. I just found out my mother who is in her 70's called because she had leaves in her gutters, the Salesman Scottie Burns came out, cleaned them and would not take a penny! Beyond impressed !!!

Scott Burns and Chris were most helpful with the inspection, initiating and following up with the insurance claim, through completion of the project. Scott kept me updated with timelines and status as needed. My new roof and gutters look wonderful and well done. I’m particularly impressed with the extra layer of protection ASI included. I have replaced and repaired numerous roofs over the years. This, by far, has been my best company with which to work.

After a severe hail storm, ASI repaired our roof. From our sales rep Anthony who came out to talk to us, show us our options, and deal with the insurance Company as well as all follow up, to the workmen who installed our new roof, we could not be happier. Your work and work ethic is not something you see often anymore, and at a time when you are dealing with a problem with your home like a roof, you want a company with knowledge and experience. That is what we got with ASI.

We recently had our siding and gutters replaced by ASI. This was our first time making an insurance claim, which I thought would be stressful, but Scottie and Chris were easy to work with, answered all our questions quickly, and just made the entire process easy.They never tried any pushy sales tactics. They explained the differences in the materials and helped us make a decision on what was best for our situation and budget. Sometimes you just know when you've found the right people...we walked away from our initial appointment just knowing it was the right fit.We are getting so many compliments from neighbors - our 25 year old house looks brand new! The crews were all very nice and did a great job with clean up afterward. I would definitely use ASI again in the future.

I had the most amazing experience working with ASI. They helped me replace my roof after it was damaged by the recent hail storm. They worked with my insurance company and handled the entire claim for me. Before I knew it, I had a brand new roof on my home in less than 2 months. Scottie, the manager, was a blessing to work with. He was very proactive and kept me informed throughout the entire process. He was also very friendly which was a bonus on top of the great service!

Anthony Genardo handled our storm damage process, he handled everything from the very beginning. He was professional, he knows every aspect of the job. He does what he says.
